I've made a check using the ADTCHK Basic-programme to calculate the checksums on my initial code-dump transer. The last checksum failed giving '0' instead of the intended value. The transfer problem seemed to be related to a too short line-CR delay. Increasing the delay from 200 ms to 400 ms. as advised in the README file gave a correct transfer as verified using 'ADTCHK'. Now, when using a fresh, correctly transferred version of ADT 0.91 the operation problems previously encountered has vanished. I now get the verification 'OK' on the PC-side for each sector passed. ---> I still use the 'ADT.EXE' as a DOS-job from within Win ME. It runs more stable at 9600 bps whenf selecting following settings in the session-properties (right click on your DOS-shortcut): - "Program" Tab, "Prevent MS-DOS programs from detecting Windows! - "Misc"Tab, "Idle sensitivity" Low (slide left.) best regards ---------- Rubywand wrote: > Almost certainly, your difficulties are on the PC side and stem from > running adt.exe as a DOS job under Win ME instead of under plain DOS.
