Someone writes a post supporting one thing then someone assumes they fall into a particular camp. I don't think the lines are that deep. Nor are they so black and white. Witness the dogmatic furball taking ever wider swings at people who are not Turley. I talked to one of the old timers in my users group who uses an emulator. He said that we wouldn't have a ROM code on our site but would link to someone who had it. Someone recently mentioned the hypocrasy in that. Suppose we make a concerted effort to petition Apple, Inc. Suppose one were to write a letter to the editor of various tech magazines discussion the problems that arise from technology moving faster than the laws can keep up. That people who do not chose to upgrade wind up in the lurch. That Apple Inc has created ill will among users because of it's poor customer service. They are a lot of bright people posting on CSA2 but as long as you bitch to each other about what's going on in the real world nada will get done about it. Flame away and you destroy what's left. And .....Nobody will take you seriously Sandy Warnken On Tue, 25 Jul 2000, Liam Busey wrote: > Arkain wrote: > > > > To all Turlettes, Vogons, Anti-Pirates, & Users: > > > > I want this thread to be about finding a way to make the arguments > made by both sides to simply vaporize.
