That doesn't seem to be in the faq. Perhaps that's in the History section, I
know I've seen it explained. The History has a lot of detail on the hardware
as it evolved, despite the title. I just tried to look it up, but the site
is not responding. The link is on the bottom of the second section of the
faq. Try the last part of the history, it probably has the IIgs info:
