August 12, 2000 GS WorldView At last, after five months of trial and error scans, endless interruptions and a couple of hard drive crashes, Išve finally managed to get the entire Apple II Reference Manual, January 1978 (The Apple II RedBook) - cover to cover - online for viewing. The URL is noted below. http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/v2000/Apr/Graphics/The.Apple.II.RedBook/ I also have the contents secured online from several other sites and have it all on a Mac Vol. CD. The complete Redbook consist of 151 pages, covers and table of contents, intro, etc. My special thanks go to George for lending me his original RedBook to make the JPEG scans from, to Dr. Hank Levinson for providing the hardware for making the scans and last but certainly not least - to Woz (who celebrated his 50th Birthday yesterday) for making the Apple II computer and his development efforts with ŒThe RedBookš. A note to Brian Vito (thanks for your patients Brian :)) - your copy will be mailed to you this coming Tuesday. Cheers & Apple II Forever! Tom
