The Ref. URL for that follows: http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/Nov99/Sound.and.Music/ Inside that above folder you'll find the ShrinkIt disk archive named: TurboGS.601.SDK The TurboGS 601 boot disk can be unshrink with any ShrinkIt utility to an 800k ProDOS self-booting disk that will allow the following user functions; shrink-unshrink, read text and/or teach files, display SHR, DHR or SHR graphic files and also other graphics formats, launch any P8, P16 or GS/OS application, very user friendly too - plus you can use the OverSampler application on this boot disk to play any sort of properly converted music and sound file, presented for such use - with very limited RAM, such as; converted MP3, Audio CD tracks, QT Movie Audio WAV files, raw binary digitized sound and/or music files, etc. Of course you'd need the proper media storage device like a hard drive, Zip drive, etc. to store such LARGE converted audio files on - to play them with the OverSampler program. Download it and give it a try. I'm sure you'll like the quick boot and design of this TurboGS boot disk and the freeware programs on it for the needs of the IIgs users. Cheers, Tom
