Hi, What a totally unique concept you propose. But, I don't really understand
your exact idea here. Are you using the term of "classic car" in the literal
sense of the term -> as in: you actually are going to build an operating
automobile to drive that's integrating an actual A2 computer in design? Or, do
you mean you simply wish to purchase and 'Cherry-out' an A2 model of computer
and use its computing efforts - for decades to come like you would with a
classic car, you rebuilt?

Being the worlds only known "Conservative - Extremist" that I am, as well as a
confirmed and infamous A2 visionary - I think building a real classic car to
actually drive around as in a REAL automobile, that integrates the overall body
design of an A2 computer (personalized lic. plates to go with the design and
all) and actually having either a 'state-of-the-art' modern supercomputer
onboard for use in the REAL automobile, encased in an Apple IIgs 'Woz' Limited
Edition computer, for such things as engine functionality, operation and maximum
efficiency, global travel and navigation needs, graphics and sound control
inside of this "A2 Classic Car" (concluding the person desiring such - actually
had the time, motivation and money - to make such an eccentric and totally
unique vehicle) would be a magnificent dream machine to have and use, as such.

And, certainly you'd want to have such an 'A2 Classic Car' autographed
personally in big bold letters on the front of the cars body and the original
'Woz' Limited Edition IIgs computer case that's inside and on board to control
the vehicles systems, mechanical, electric, audio and video, that is.

Such a concept - provokes ideas in my head that I could elaberate, rant and rave
over all day long. And, knowing Woz, as I do - I have no doubts that such an
automobile - if ever actually made, would be meet with his great excitement,
amusement and joy, if the owner ever pulled up in Woz's driveway and ask him to
autograph it (in all the right places :) - of course, I'm certain he'd insist on
taking it out for a personal spin around town with you too.

If such a cool 'A2 Classic Car' dream concept auto ever did get built for
transportation, rest assured - I'd be the first to take the owner down to meet
Woz and ask for his sig's on the vehicle, invite him to take it for a drive with
the owner and me and have my digital camera charged up and ready to capture the
event - from all prospectives.

Well, there you have my thoughts on that avenue of such a thing.

Either way -> as a Real - A2 Classic ***CONCEPT*** Car to drive - so designed or
as a 'Classic A2' computer to use for computing for decades to come, I'd
certainly select an Apple IIgs 'Woz' - Limited Edition computer case - with a
modified and fully 'Decked Out to the Max' ROM 03 internal IIgs computer.

An Apple IIgs 'Woz' Limited Edition - as outlined above - most certainly!

Actually come to think of it - getting one of the VERY classic and VERY rare IIe
enhanced late model cases that was converted to a IIgs, would be my personal
choice. BTW, I do have several of these RARE A2 'IIe-IIgs' computers. It was a
conversion kit with the IIgs logo emblem on the top front of the IIe enhanced
case and all, with the ROM 01 and/or ROM 03 IIgs inside of it. It's really a
very impressive looking A2 computer in all respects. And, if you ever decide to
purchase either a IIgs Woz Limited edition 'original ROM 0' - (in nearly new
condition) that is - the CPU with signed case or the Apple IIe classic
conversion to IIgs - that Apple Computer did with the upgrade of the last IIe
model - let me know. I can offer you either of them at a very fair and good
price.

You really got me going with this email and your questions, request for such
suggestions and so on. This email was just what I needed to kick start me on a
Monday morning. It sure gave me a better mental charge - most certainly better
than my normal 'Double Mocha Blast of Coffee' could ever offer my mind.

After you've had the time to digest my reply on all - send me another email with
your thoughts on all, that I've mentioned and we can take it from there with
respect to what hardware inside of the IIgs model to have for the best over all
use with it.
