     If your friend can not get the disk to eject under IIgs control or by
pressing the eject button, the suggestions seem to boil down to the following:

1. Turn the computer OFF and unplug all connectors and the power supply cord.
(Iomega does not say to turn OFF power to the Zip's AC adaptor.)  Next, you are
supposed to plug the power cord back into your Zip drive and try pressing the
eject button.

2. If the above does not work, Iomega suggests trying a manual eject. To do
this you unplug the power cord and turn the Zip Drive around so that you are
looking at the back. Then, you straighten out a paper clip and insert it into
the emergency eject hole located on the back of the drive, above the right-hand
cable connector. (There is some info about this in the docs that came with the
Zip Drive.)

     I've used this method to eject disks a couple of times when a disk was
inserted and I did not want to turn on the power to do an eject. However, the
disks were not stuck.
