Using PPP implies that you are using the marinetti API routines, and will still require the development of an INIT to make these "network" shares appear on the desktop. Why introduce another level of abstraction when you dont need to? Sure, TCP/UDP (sockets) development is standard, and makes communications issues a bit easier to deal with, but i am really looking for a simple, fast, low overhead solution here that EVERYONE can use. > >Why patch anything and have a special init?
