I think it's kind of obvious that I am _way_ overdue to put out a new topic/subject list. I got very sidetracked with putting out the latest version of OLRight!, and (believe it or not) actually have a REAL life. I will take a look at getting a new listing posted, but I also have a concern about topic/subject lists now that the Delphi software apparently assigns (or displays) different message numbers to the text vs the web side. I am not sure how to go about getting both sets of numbers from the text side, and trying to format a topic/subject list for both message numbers boggles my mind at the moment... I think I could be of help in this area. If you can get the data and send it to me I'll look at several ways to format it based on what you want. No problem if it is in two files i.e., text and web. The only requirement would be that the names be spelled the same so the two can be brought together. My first blush involves the awk language. It is great at formatting text. For this you need a Unix based ISP (or a IIgs, GNO and the awk version that Jaywaid ported). Another approace is to use an UltraMacro to put the data into a DB (SS?) i.e., Four categories: KFest '99 is only a few short weeks away! If you haven't registed yet, NOW is the time!!
