The Video Overlay Card does has a Video Expansion Bus (VEB) that can be used to allow other video hardware (possibly with higher resolutions and/or more colours) to be converted to an NTSC composite video as well as allowing that other hardware to access the video overlay circuitry of the VOC. I always wanted to experiment with trying to use the output of my PC through the VOC to see what I could do.
