Subject: Re: UniDisk 3.5 problem From: buggie@indus.unm.edu (stephen e buggie) Date: Fri, Jan 1, 1999 22Ç210 Message-id: <76kacl$1sig$2@lynx.unm.edu> I made a mistake, and Randy Shackelford is right. The "255" IIc is unenhanced, and it does not support the 3.5 Unidisk drive. But the "0" version is enhanced, and yes, it does support the 3.5 drive. BTW, a complete motherboard swap is NOT NEEDED. I sell the enhancement IIC rom that turns the "255" relic into a "0" high flyer. The $4 includes postage and the installation sheet. The upgrade ROM also adds the checkerboard self-test, which is really helpful because it identifies the location of any bad RAM chip among the 16 rams.
