Subject: Re: AppleIIc to pc transfer From: "Gianni Barberi" Date: Mon, Nov 23, 1998 4Ç7 Message-id: <73c69i$iu1$1@menelao.polito.it> I just did the same thing: make a cable and use ADT121.zip, this is a wondeful program that upload itself into the apple. for the cable read a previous posting from me: After much debate and suggestions in the newsgroup I finally connected the two and they're talking fluently via ADT. The answer is the most obvious: just connect Transmit Data to Receive Data and viceversa. Join Ground as well is a good thing, but I did transfer ADT on my Apple with just 1 wire ! I found it in the most empirical way: shuffling the wires till some garbage came on the screen. So I discovered as well that Apple used his own numbering on the DIN plug, a very wise move: probably we all would be using Apple now if they just followed the standards. Here are the connections, you can read the pin numbers on all the plugs. Apple // c DIN PC DB9 PC DB25 5 2 3 4 3 2 2 5 7 That's All Folks ! ADT is widely available on the net write me for any problem Pete Cauchy ha scritto nel messaggio <730khl$h58@news.voyager.net>... >I own an apple IIc, have a db25 to dim5 cable and a term program. >What program/how can I upload the programs to the pc?
