First, do you have the latest ver, 0.56 last I checked. I suggest you use absolute paths for the disk_conf file and try to keep your disk images in a common dir tree. You may also need to check the file settings and make sure the user you are logged in and has access to those files. Don't run as root. If you get the latest ver check the file 'readme.linux.partitions' I included some info in there for Kent to distribute. Hope I covered everything you need. Uh, nope. You may also want to check the disk_conf file and make sure you editor does not add garbage. I suggest Midnite Commander. I use it to keep a copy of the file open when I need to change images alot, but I keep my work files in a partition. Phoenyx
