     The Trenco ftp site was checked a few months ago and most of the folders
were empty.

     Recently, after Max Jones mentioned it as a place to get the new game
(Silvern), it was checked again. Although some empty folders remained, the
site had grown and was added to the FAQs 'Major Apple II Sites' listing (see

     Agree. Modem MGR has been listed in the FAQs for quite some time. Here

     Another very good program is Modem MGR from MGR Software. It runs on any
Apple II and works with a wide range of modems, 80-column boards, and clock
cards. MM supports popular protocols from x-modem through z-modem and many
terminal emulations. The last number I have for MGR Software is 714-993-0294.

     It is currently available on the Trenco archive site at
ftp://ftp.gno.org/pub/apple2/prodos/comm/term/modem.mgr/ . (Like, if you're
going to hype a new site, give its URL!)

     Since it is now officially reclassified as freeware by James Okubo,
complete ProDOS and DOS 3.3 versions are sure to appear on other A2 archives,
too.
