The stupid Windows box I am using sure leaves a lot to be desired. Can't wait until my Mac is back and running. Just as I clicked the "send" button, Netscape "Performed and illegal operation" so I don't know if the message got off. So who exactly enforces the laws that cause illegal operations...? Anyway, I was asking if the Z-80 card out of my A2+ would work in my A2e Platinum, and if I needed a Digital Research CP/M disk (DR made the card) or if any CP/M disk would work. What slot should I put the card in? Do I need to load CP/M over ProDOS? Also, I am trying to build an ultimate IIe Platinum using only period parts, and no fancy overdrive chips, just to see what I can end up with. This is what I have so far: A2e platinum Color Monitor IIe DuoDisk 3.5" floppy (x2) Super Serial Card Z-80 Card IRQ card (For GEOS) 64k/80 col card Mouse Card Clock Card Is there anything else I should put in? What is the fasteds modem I can get for an A2E running GEOS? Yes, I plan to get a SCSI card when I find one... Is there any special order I should have my expansion cards? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gen. Hiram P. Gooberman, esq. http://www.angelfire.com/wa/militia/mainpage.html Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
