Thanks .... As Supertimer said, the presence of an accelerator card-- at least, a ZipGS-- may lead to failure of diagnostic test 05. This is the "Speed Test" which tests being able to switch speed. (The "01" in the error code = "stuck slow".) If DIP Switch 1-4 (Counter Delay) on a ZipGS is set OFF (the normal, default setting), your GS will bomb on this test.
