I wonder what they might be worth in say, 2-3 hundred years from now?? 
I've had one encased in polycarbonate with the appropriate corrosive 
gasses substituted out. A variety of other measures have been taken to 
assure a good powerup upon removal. Including sealing power supply caps, 
separating insulated wires as needed (to protect from potential 
brittleness :-) complete system manuals on acid free paper. Scanned too.. 
A bootable solid-state disk image. a second power supply that has 
aerospace spec parts. shematics, and schematics for building 3 
different-technology display devices. Also included are tools and notes 
and cd roms (in pc format). a variety of cards and accessories.. Even the 
socket springiness has been addressed to assure good contact, but also 
keeping the pcb in 100% factory dress.. etc. we'll put together several 
more. I'm not sure yet what steps are needed for say 500-1000 year 
storage though. But we're investigating.
